I’m not dissimilar to you. The last 2 years of my life have been upside down as well. I feel ok saying that I’m still not all the way back yet.  I quit my job.  I quit it before I had ever heard the word COVID.  I didn’t regret it then and I certainly don’t regret it now.  Again, probably like you, I’ve learned a lot about myself in that time.  I don’t like everything I’ve learned.  That’s ok.  In fact, it’s good.  Now I know what to work on at the range.  

Golf has been a major part of my life since I began working at a course when I was 15.  It’s the only serious job I’ve ever really had, and I did it for the better part of 25 years. Loved it every step along the way but with 3 kids and a wife who started a successful business and was traveling a lot it, life had become complicated.  I was headed for an absent marriage and me not knowing my kids. It was time for a change, and I was extremely happy to go help my wife with her business and be a hands-on Dad.  I was ready for the change.  Then the world shut down and nothing is normal anymore. And that’s ok.  It’s taken me a while to get back on the horse. But now we’re riding. 

I can’t wait to share more of my story of being a dad, golf pro, husband, friend, good golfer, bad golfer and every other role one takes on throughout their life.  It’s time. We promise we’ll keep them short and to the point, and I hope you learn something from us along the way. We’re counting on learning from you.
