Luck

I’ve had incredible bounces off of something out of bounds and ended up in the fairway. I’ve made putts I thought weren’t going in. I’ve holed sand shots from 5 yards to 150. I’ve birdied a par 5 by making it from 210 yards. I’ve slam dunked a 6 iron for eagle. I’ve come as close as you can to making a hole in one on a par 4. The tap in eagle was unsatisfying.

I’ve holed shots from all over the golf course but none of those shots started between 2 tee markers.

No, I’ve never made a 1. I’ve been in the group and witnessed 6 of them. I’ve got stories of my own but none of them result with the ball in the hole.

My day is coming. And when it does, it will be sweet. I just need a little more luck. ☘️
